Join us for a North Carolina tradition – shagging! If you've always wanted to learn, this is your chance. If you don't know what it is, here's your opportunity to find out. And if you're from the UK, it's not what you think it is! We've paired this NC custom with the quintessential local fare, an oyster roast with all the fixings.
On your arrival to Loafers Beach Music Club, an authentic shag locale, begin the night with a cocktail or two, catch up with fellow attendees on the day’s sessions and soak up tunes like Carolina Girls, Sixty Minute Man, Too Late to Turn Back Now, and Build Me Up Butter Cup by the popular local band, The Embers. Take the next step and take part in a shag lesson, no partner needed! Once you’re ready to show off your moves, hit the dance floor. If beach music isn't your thing, don't worry - we'll have music from a variety of genres to get you moving.
